Community Talks

Arthritis NSW visits a community groupOne of the great services that we offer is our community talks service. We have Community Educators who travel around Sydney and its surrounds and give talks on arthritis and osteoporosis to small groups. Some of our dedicated Voluntary Field Officers and other trained speakers also do community talks in rural areas.

We find that we have a broad range of groups asking for community talks, from Welfare, Slimmers and Church groups through to Multicultural groups, Libraries and Gyms. The talk takes about an hour and there is plenty of time for questions. Plus we bring out information sheets for you to take away.

There is a small cost associated with this service but we can talk to you about your particular needs. So if you’re a community group and would like to have us come out and speak to your group, please give Jane Wicks a call on 9683 1622.
