So you think you have arthritis? In this section you'll find FAQ, information about types of arthritis and osteoporosis and information relevant to your age group.

The Director of Education and Deputy CEO, says, “Arthritis, in its many forms, strikes 1 in 6 Australians. That’s almost 3.4 million people.*

It’s not just old hat: Arthritis is not just a natural part of ageing. Most people with arthritis are between 15 and 64 years, even children get arthritis!

Arthritis is a broad term, used to talk about more than 100 different diseases. Osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and gout are all different types of arthritis.
