Welcome from our CEO

Thank you for considering our invitation to be a participant at the Arthritis NSW Inaugural PATCH OF BLUE 2019 Golf Day.

This is our inaugural event where you are the beneficiaries of the day and have the opportunity to network with individuals and companies whilst learning more and supporting Arthritis NSW. You will meet some new and perhaps not so new faces, and meet some of our Board members, staff and volunteers.

Join us at the exceptional Castle Hill Country Club – bring your colleagues and friends for a day filled with fun, and enjoy a sensational round of golf, fully catered lunch, as well as opportunities to share a round of golf with a celebrity or two by nominating to be part of the private fourballs.

If you are interested in showcasing your company, you can become a partner of ANSW for the day.

I encourage you to wear something BLUE, to highlight your awareness of Arthritis and how it impacts daily on people’s lives and their capacity to maintain employment. We also appreciate your support of our work towards “Busting The Myth”, that this condition is not age related, but also affects 1 in 1000 Australian children under 18.

I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 12th November 2019, bright and early at the 6am registration. Thank you for your ongoing and generous support!

Event Overview

Our Aim

We believe the formula we have assembled is a good one, so our aim is simple – enjoyment, fun and success, and ensure our day is inclusive and diverse.

Rules for the Day
We will be holding an Ambrose competition allowing all levels of handicap from this system. Within each fourball each player must take at least 3 drives to be counted. As a welcome addition, and in line with our drive for diversity and inclusion, each fourball that has at least one female member will have a stroke deducted from their final score.

How You Can Get Involved
This is a chance for you to bring colleagues, and/or clients to a game of golf and lunch at an exceptional club, whilst networking with them, others and learning more about ANSW and what we do.  We realise that it’s not always possible for a company to get involved as a corporate sponsor, so we have designed a platform on which to raise funds – the Private Fourballs! You and two (2) mates or clients are teamed with a celebrity /player + an invitation to lunch + company banner displayed in foyer – these opportunities are limited, so don’t delay! For us to have a truly great and enjoyable event having a strong field is very important, and having our Private Fourballs allows us to achieve this

Partnership
If you are interested in getting behind this event and would like more detailed information please please see our Partnership Opportunities here or email friends@arthritisnsw.org.au.

Tax Benefit/Offset:  We are pleased to be able to offer a tax benefit to partnerships there is a tax proviso next to the partnership total. How it works is, essentially the tax benefit element of the total cost is less the actual benefit you receive on the day. This does not include Standard Fourballs.

The day will commence at 6-00am with registration, tea and coffee, and associated networking opportunities followed by a 7.00am shotgun start. All teams will be briefed in the morning prior to completing the 18-hole course; come rail, hail or shine!! All fourballs include a golf cart.
